FOUR ACRE FARM

Northern Ontario

Living and growing in zone 3

Four Acre Farm in Northern Ontario grows a wide variety of flowers, fruits and vegetables in a sustainable way that strives protect the land and its inhabitants. We offer seedlings, produce, cut flowers and a wide array of preserves.

We recently added chickens to the farm and are in the process of adding goats. We are striving to create a full circle of pesticide free compost, healthy animals and amazing plants.

Eating the foods we grow and selling to our customers to also enjoy brings us great joy and satisfaction. As we grow our farm we will strive to listen to our community and bring about changes that allow us to better serve them.

We are a designated Wildlife Habitat, a Monarch Waystation and a Bee Friendly Habitat. We live side by side with lynx, moose, wolves and many other creatures big and small that enrich our lives and help keep the balance that nature is so good at providing.

Hey there, welcome to my little slice of the internet! A little about me to let you get to know me better.

I come from a family of farmers and my grandfather was also a market farmer way back in the day. My grandmother raised 12 children on the family farm and had a green thumb a mile long. She was a queen of preserving food and man could she make a mean sweet cornbread. I still miss her everyday.

I  am also a retired personal trainer and nutritionist, but don’t worry—I promise not to count your calories (unless it’s pizza, then all bets are off). When I'm not whipping up healthy meals, you'll find me in the garden playing plant parent or out on an adventure, probably getting lost on purpose. Join me for some laughs and tips on how to live your best life and grow the best plants and preserve your efforts without taking things too seriously!
